North Carolina Foundations for Early Learning and Development Released

North Carolina completed and released its revised Early Learning and Development Standards in 2013 (titled NC Foundations for Early Learning and Development). Training and professional development for early childhood educators has been a focus in the Race to the Top–Early Learning Challenge grant. A .5 CEU course has been developed and train the trainer sessions have been scheduled through the Child Care Resource and Referral Network to ensure a broad dissemination, awareness and utilization of the revised Foundations document.
